    Power steering

Anybody ever used an OBS power steering pump on an ls motor? Can you even do it? My pump is burned up on my lq4 and was wondering if I could take the one off my TBI motor and put on it.

i wouldnt see why not as the motor is only there to turn the pully. so as long as you can fabricate a bracket or make use of the brackets you have by modifying them, it should work just fine as long as the pullies are lined up. obviously you will need a different size belt. if you make it happen, you should do a writeup about it.

Check out if there is an inexpensive rebuild kit for your pump. They usually just contain a bearing and o-ring seals. Not much that can break inside a power steering pump.
