    whats the difference???

Hey everyone. I am getting ready to start my first Ls build. I found a donor 5.3 out of a 2005 Tahoe. I have a 2003 Silverado. I was wondering if I will have any problem dropping it in once it is built. I know that the head gasket set is different between the two of them, but I'm not sure what the difference is. I would appreciate any help on this matter.

The 05 motor has all the same length head bolts but that's about it. May have flat top pistons and better flowing heads, but seeing how it's from a Tahoe I doubt it.

I appreciate all the advice guys. I didn't think that there was a difference, but I have been selling parts for 10 years and decided to look and see if the head gasket sets were the same and they weren't so it had me a little apprehensive about it working. Thanks again for all of the help. I will keep you updated on the build.
