    LH8 Hummer H3 pan in OBS 88-98 C1500

I've been searching all morning trying to find someone who has installed a LH8 oil pan in an 88-98 truck. My truck is lowered so I don't want an oil pan that hangs below the crossmember at all. I've found that the Gen 3/4 truck oil pan hangs too low and the F-Body oil pan gives "Plenty" of clearance. Does that mean the LH8 pan is just right? From a few measurement sources it seems the LH8 pan is only about 1/2" to 3/4" shorter. Is that enough?

it will fit no problem.. I'm pretty sure the standard truck pan hangs 1 1/4" below the crossmember and the H3 pan is shorter than the truck pan. Fbody pan works great but you have to move the motor all the way back in the engine compartment to clear. I currently run a modified G8 pan due to the capacity, it holds right at 9qts..
