What Size Tranny Cooler Is Best? *4L60E*

Want to install the usual larger trans cooler in front of my truck radiator. Whats a good size & brand to go with? Thanks

Wow, really? Three tranny coolers? Plumbed in series? Do you also use the radiators cooler as well?

Ive got two aftermarket coolers. Yeah they are plumbed in series. Right in front of the grille. I got both for super cheap at different times, and just decided to run both. Its working great

I read somewhere that the radiator trans cooler should always be used as well because of the superior efficiency of water cooling over air cooling. Just my .02

tru cool 40,000 seems to be the most common choice. better too big than not big enough.

Yeah the first cooler I had wasnt big enough, and I found another for under 10 bucks. So rather sell one and buy one more expensive, I bought another LOL

That's been my stand on the issue from day one.
