wondering who all has a intake manifold swap other than the F.A.S.T. and what gains you noticed? dyno printouts??, just pondering the idea of doing a swap and saw a "Typhoon" intake manifold on ebay and thought i'd look nice under the hood, also is there any way with the stock plastic ls6 intake to mount the engine cover back on to retain the "facorty" appearance?? maybe use a plastic welder to melt the peice the bolt screws back on to the ls6 intake???

There is a member who has recently dropped a 6.0L into an S-10 who is running this intake. I am not sure if he has dynoed it yet, but is running. Look for "I'm Calling her Mia" thread in LSX Truck Conversions.

the typhoon manifold sucks...nitrous injected had one and actually lost power over an LS1 intake. they're are very cheaply cast as well...if you're after looks, it looks, it looks OK, but i think a painted LS1 or LS6 intake look better and can be had cheaper
