    front coilover suspension conversion

    does anybody make a coilover conversion kit for our awd/4wd trucks. i found that rockcrawler make one but i don't wanna lift i just want stock hieght. i could loose alot of wieght going coilover and chunk these damn torsen bars and the crap that goes with them.

    yeah he can do awd/4wd i had some pics of a conversion he had done but i cant find them, i think he even uses stock control arms. and like always awesome work

    from what it seems on that rockcrawler conversion they just used a set of fox coilovers, made a bracket to bolt the shock to the bottom control arm shock mounts. and put the top up through the stock tower. then ditch the torsen crap. from what i read they put it through a beating and it didn't break and infact rod better than stock. i could use some qa1 proma stars with 650lb springs. then use there eyelet to studtop conversion thing for the top. and make a small bracket to fit the bottom up. i could see this saveing me 100lbs or not to mention ride way better.

    I'd like to see those pics. I have thought about some how bagging the whole truck and it still being able to be used as a truck.

    there is a airbag kit for our style 4wd/awd fronts due to all the tahoes having the same torsen bar setup up no matter of 2wd or 4wd. but they said the bag would hit the axle.

    jon's is similar to that if i remember correctly, and i would deff see him about it, ill be getting mine done whenever time/money allows, still cant find those pics but i think it was on a 2wd truck but still just to get an idea
