    New seats

Just bought these seats, plan to install them soon along with a custom console to hold all of the audio goodies. Ok just finished the brackets, now need a little help with the wiring. Got these from a salvage yard and have the plug ends but not sure of which wire feeds the air bags, that wouldn't be fun at all. Oh, there are out of an Malibu. Thanks for any help.

Not sure what kind of Malibu they are out of but unless you plug something into the air bag connectors, nothing will happen.....and it would take some serious luck to get them to blow out anyway. Airbag connectors are yellow.

Thanks, I deduced the airbags were yellow(before reading your post) I did hook up the main black and red to check out and all of the seat movement is on one switch. still a lot of wires for seats. Looks like the pass. has a sensor for the airbags. If I unplug the yellow that will reduce the chance of setting them off? I would like to hookup the heat as well if not to much trouble. Any idea what size fuse that I should put in line for the power seat and the heated seats?

20A to 30A BREAKER (not fuse) is typical for all power functions save heat. The bags will not blow without the yellow plugged in and the position sensor is for no/single/dual frontal deployment (in all apps) and for memory recall is those so equipped.

Thanks again for your help. So I'll unplug the yellow plug. any idea what color the heat wires are? And the thermal protection needed? All of the remaining wires are very small gage.

you would need the seat modules, wiring, connectors, and switches for the heat to work. Might need the BCM, etc. Gotta know what the seats came out of to make a guess.
