    headers

    anyone used the LS1 schoenfield headers for the older style trucks? i purchased some and was just interested to hear how the perform

    88-99 OBS? theyre made for these trucks. redheartbeat has a set on his truck i think. they should perform just like any 1 3/4" LT header. you'll lose low end power but gain mid-high rpm power.

    Don't I wish I had them on there. The ones I have are hand built long tubes made long before Schoenfeld started selling their's and they took about 80 man hours to build. Look around in here, there are quite a few guys running them.

    They seem to be fine to me. I had a local guy coat them though.. just in case they didn't fit.
