    truck not shifting under boost

I am still trying to get my tune issue worked out if nelson would ever call me back, left three messages already. Well anyway, when I am driving the truck at lets say, 1/2 throttle, and when it pulls 7lbs, when it gos to shift from 1st to 2nd, and 2nd to 3rd, it sounds like the truck is hitting the rev limiter or something. It just acts like it doesnt want to change gears. Driving the truck normal with no boost it shifts fine. Any ideas?? And another thing is when I am coming to a stop or slowing down to near stopping, the truck acts like its wants to shut off, kinda bogs down for a couple of seconds then it idols fine. The idol is set at 800, please help thanx nick

Decell trim might need adjusting and you may either have a slipping trans under load or the rev limit is set too close to the shift RPM. I have the same issue in my current (new) tune from some one else....only 1-2. Mean05 logged mine and it was laying over big time timing wise 5100-6000, -2 KR, and throttle to 46% because of the rev limit setting.

Keep us informed ,mines been doing it for a year and all i could describe was seems like its hitting the rev limiter ,so i had it raised and it still does it.I almost thought it was a fuel issue, but thats more than adequate. It acts like its hitting rev limit ,stutters at high boost then shifts when i let up or stutters into the next gear.Nelson will call he just has a huge work load.

sounds like a reoccuuring theme...I know of a couple of other trucks on here with the same issues.

Look on the bright side..apparantly it is impossible for a tune to hurt your transmission (according to all in here) so you should be fine...whatever...lol

I believe the consensus was that the tune is not responsible for blowing a trans because of a high idle as posted in another thread. Of course a crappy tune can hurt a trans. Then again, I know one person here that has lost 4th seven times in six months and his builder is supposed to be great.

sounds like the converter is hanging locked up at deceleration/coming to a stop. The first issue sounds like the 3/4 pack is about to buy the farm.

Well a little update, today I recieved a new tune "without even knowing". and just as I figured it is worst then the last. If I would have been called back to tell him the problem maybe it would have been better!!!

Could all his problems somehow be linked to a impending tranny failure? According to his sig he only has a verter, shift kit, servo and has alot of power going to it.... Maybe all the parts not upraded are about to go pop?
