    FLT Level What?

So I am fed up with my newly built trans that wont lockup......I am debating spending the money on a Finish line trans. My question is what level should I get....Not planin on doing anything crazy in the future. Just a Tr220

How about a low mileage, good running 60e from the yards? Put a shiftkit in it and servo and be done, if you're not planning on anything major in the future, it'll hold just fine.
Not trying to talk you out of an FLT, he's the best imo and that's who I use, but you're trying to get into a working trans and the best way might be that.
I think FLT has a great Level 2 or 3 with good upgrade for a great price if you're going FLT.

I have access to a low mileage 2wd 80e out of a railroad truck. But I will need a conveter and those stalls are expensive. Wont I lose alot of power too.

Just do the 80 and be done with it. I was worried about loosing power too, but everywhere I have searched everyone runs about the same ETs.

the reason for the same et is that most go with a stall converter and the 1st to 2nd gear ratio is way better than the 60e
