it can be done, you will need the ls1 mounts harness and computer. should be close to bolt in but you will need the f-body acc's and intake. you shouldn't have to worry about a custom harness or anything, just find one out of a wrecked ls1 car.

to do it right youll have more money into it then you would if you found a used Ls1 car. granted you can half ass **** but to do it right you need everything from a donor LS1 including dash wiring.
