    Newb from TN

    Hey guys, glad to find this place! I'm over off pt and gmfs. Heres a current pic of the truck(The best one I got from the lsx shootout acouple weeks ago) my performance mods are in the sig!

    Also, I'm digging the shoutbox feature! It really helped me out on saturday when Quik answered a quick question I had!

    14.6@93mph first time out with currrent mods

    Welcome to the site...that's a sick truck man. I'm usually not a huge fan of e.c. but that thing is clean! I know your going to get a lot out of this site, basically any ? you got, there is an answer waiting for you.

    Welcome to LS1truck mayne! Nice lookin truck...love the black wheels with the chrome lip! What motor--5.3L I hope...considering the 224R cam. BTW--how do you like it? From what I know, the 5.3L loves higher duration numbers...

    Yep, 5.3L. I haven't driven the truck much since doing the cam, and that was on an old tune not set for the cam. But from what I can feel already is that I lost a little low end, but from 3k+ it pulls hella nice! Didn't take it past4500rpm yet though! Should have me new tune in new week, then on Nov 16th I'm getting it lived tune by Justin @ BlackBear!!

    Yeah, no real reason to try and get into it when the tune isn't set for the cam cause it will be a big let down... Wait till the new tune comes in...then romp on it every chance ya get! The .581 lift does make the power come in later, but once it comes in--damn--watch out! I have a slightly smaller cam (duration-wise) and it is ridiculous about 3k rpms. I tried to pass someone on a 2 lane road the other day...from a 35 mph punch, I got a 3-1 downkick and obliterated the rear tires--took me longer to pass them cause I was spinning than it would have if I just barely pushed down the gas! What size Crircle D 'verter yuou gunna get? 3000?
