    Welcome to LS1truck Riley! Nice ride you've got there! From the pics, it looks like you've already got the motor installed--and mods to it, or is it a stock 5.3? What about the transmission? Rear end? Suspension setup? Oh, and we need more pics!!!

    Nice! I had a '51 I wish I never sold.

    IMO - Need to get that stance down a bit.

    Motors in....Actually this is a 4.8L i pulled outa my 00 silverado....Its a 53 with a th350 trans and 3.73 rear...PS Ft disc brakes...etc.....
    just another toy ....Have a 00 silverado with a cam and headers and stall tq conver etc...and a 2003 duramax with a few mods....

    Ahhh, I was worried about that when I saw the engine cover...both the 4.8 and 5.3 shared the same cover--but I was hoping for a 5.3L

    Is it the stock motor--or any mods to it? What motor did you end up putting into the 00 Silverado to replace the 4.8L you took out?
