Thread: any pics of cdi??

    any pics of cdi??

    so we finished up the 5.3 ls1 based swap in my 1989 gmc
    as of right now im runing the air filter straight off of the throttle body which i know is killing the performance sucking in all that hot air
    anyone have any pics of there cdi the made for these trucks??
    i plan on making one just kinda need an idea where to start and run the intake to and what works best
    thanks

    ive seen one person say that his IAT's arent too bad running the filter right off the TB.

    Heres a shot of mine, check out intakehoses.com and spectre performance. Try looking on ebay for cai parts, those ricers love their cold air intakes.

    Mine has not yet. I used the 4" drain pipe, I think it's Schedule 20, it's pretty thin. Works fine. I have towed with it in 85 degree days, and it seems to be holding up fine for the last 3.5 years.

    you can also try Intercooler Pipe Fabrication - Silicone Intake Systems Auto Parts they have all the custom pieces you need to fab up whatever you want and seem to be marginally cheaper on the silicone pieces than the other website good luck and post some pics when your done!
