when i pull up to stop light, truck tries to die, if i keep on the throttle it will pick back up, runs real good and sets no codes, any ideals, it idles around 600 rpm,

1987 jeep wrangler, 1999 LS 1, 4l60 231j transfercase, dana 30 frontend ford 8.8 rearend 3:73 gear ratio. sandersons shortie headers, 2.25 inch exhaust into 3 inch flowmaster muffler.
if its cable drive adjust the throttle with the set screw in the front of the tb.then run some inj cleaner through it .did you anything diff lately too make this happen.

well ,when i had a similar problem ,if all elsse fails drill a hole 1/8 inch in the throttle plate it helps get air so it will run.but 1st check for codes ,etc.

you can go bigger with hole if ness up too 1/4 .

did you clean your TB? Do that first. Then if it still does it there is a reflash available.

id be carfull about drilling extra holes, not sayin you cant, in tb. if you drill too big youll idle at an rpm you dont want to, plus once you drill its kinda hard to fix if you mess it up. its probably your idle sensor. Clean it and if that doesnt work, if it were mine, id reset the vcm. or call Allen at Nelson performance, he can fix ya up with a custom tune.drill
if you have to drill(last resort) take the throttle body off before you do, then make sure no shavings are in it before you put it back on.
also check your air filter, fuel filter, and plug wires. might be one of those.

if you use a k&n filter it might have put oil on the MAF, that also could cause the idle problem.
