Just for grins I went to GMPARTSDIRECT.COM to do a price comparison and got one hell of a shock. Looking at the price for this fuel pump assembly it looks like you are getting a decent deal. After looking at the rediculous price they want for shipping and handling charges I feel violated. Seriously, how does a company charge $60.05 to take a box, put it in another box with packing materials, slap a label on the box and send it on it's way. I've had items shipped from SDPC2000.COM that contained about 40 items and it only cost me about $18.00 for S&H.

Below is the total quoted for the part...

In most cases, gmpartsdirect.com total price (delivered to your business or home) is less than GM wholesale. Compare our prices with your local dealer.

GM Part # Category Description Pack Qty Unit Price Quantity Ext. Price YOU SAVE Core Charge S&H Approx TOTAL
    25176789 Fuel Tank Meter Sender/Connector MODULE 1 $250.22 $250.22 $250.24 $0.00 $60.05 310.27

    Subtotal:
    $310.27

We currently only ship to U.S. postal street addresses. We do not ship to international addresses.

Ya I have seen that so many times it is crazy. I have even seen stuff that the shipping was almost as much as the part itself. I would do like AGRV8D said and just go to GUNN.

I guess that's why they call it shipping & handling. $20 for the box and $20 for the employee to put it in the box I guess?? I alway get a laugh out of the companies who offer free shipping but their handling fee is twice as much as it would be to ship.
2003 Arrival Blue Silverado SS.....I just can't leave $hit alone.
