long story short i bought a gear set from a member over on FSC. went to install it some time later and found out it was not a REAR gear set it is a FRONT gear set. so i had to hurry to find one to get my truck back on the road and now i am selling this gear set. it is a brand new never installed although i tried gear set. below are some particulars about it:
8.25 Diameter ring set
3.73 ratio
according to the p/n which is 12471274 (GM) duh...lol
it fits 1988 4WD/AWD front with the Independant Front Suspension (IFS)
it is a GM gear set still in gm packaging and comes with a new crush sleeve, the ring gear as well as the pinion.
its a 5-cut gear according to what i have found. dont know what that means but some else needing it might...

for sake of posting this i am asking 200.00 shipped OBO anywhere in the lower 48 states US only. international or othere areas the shipping wil have to be worked out.
so if you need or want a 3.73 gear for the front of your 4WD/AWD vehicle i have one thanks for looking... also i will get a picture up of it tomorrow Sunday 12-16-07
