    machine shop in SA TX

    Anybody know any good machine shops in San Antonio TX. Gotta get a mottor checked out and machined.

    havnt really had any luck with machines shops here on the south side
    06 rcsb, 6two, 231/235, 4.11, pacesetter, 80e, 14 bolt, Nelson tuned
    2011 rcsb 6two swap in the works with 6l90 and boost

    Theirs one here on bandera just don't know if its good or not i myself am looking for one need to get my 243s milled n port n polished

    i actually just talked to a guy from longs they seem pretty badass

    Yeah they are a good group of guys. Their dad (Virgil) started it and now the sons run it. I know a few people that had engines re-built by them, Gen I SBC, and they know their stuff.

    Longs Machine are good. Been around for atleast 20 years or more.
    2000*GMC longtubes nelson tune, built trans,trutrac circle d 278 mm stall 373 posi,100 shot of dope and 228 232 588 595 cam.

    I use mission machine shop down Roosevelt to get all my heads milled $130 to mill .030 and $15 cleaning
    They are fast too
