That sucks! Time to either look for another block or bring it to the machine shop for magnafluxing and a price on a sleeve for that cylinder.
yeah took it to the machine shop today, quoted me $420 for hot tank, one sleeve, cam bearing install and hone! so ill probably look for a block.
Ask them how much it would cost for all that, minus the sleeve, on a good block. For the difference, it may not be worth the hassle of finding another block...
yeah, I would not risk rebuilding that one
good news i found a LQ9 to build :)
Just braze it, it'll run forever, or at least until the next WOT shift.

Brazing is like welding it. It will last a couple passes brazed at the most before sudden self disassembley.
