F150 LSx conversion - don't hate!

Hey guys, gotta a truck here we've been working on.

I know it doesn't fall into the GM category, but it does have an LS engine.
Specifically, a 2002 5.3L engine.
We're backing it up with a semi-built 60e.
Rearend will remain stock.
AC will work, along will all the gauges. However, gauges will consist of an Autometer set.

Oh ya, something to really put it over the top! We're building a front mount turbo with a heat exchanger and a/w intercooler.
The engine will be seeing about 5psi for now. Iron block 5.7L build is being thrown around as well, later though.
Turbo is the standard T76 MP we use.

I knew you would like this build lol.
btw, the engine fit just fine, a little work with the mounts, but not much, used the dirty dingo mounts again.
notch the frame to accept the stock a/c compressor.

Russell racing approved rubber push on line, to a barbed fitting, the other side is 3/8 and 5/16 GM connection.

Makes it real easy and only one fitting needed. Plus, this hose, once pushed on, will never leak or pull off, no clamps required.

I'm not a loyalist, but nobody can deny the greatnes of the LS engines. Don't sweat the hate. I'll be posting my '69 f100 shortbed with a 5.3 soon. That should stress out the loyalist as well. Your truck is gonna be fun!

Any updates on this truck? In up to my elbows in my own 1998 F150/5.3 swap.

last time i heard it was at a chassis shop getting tubbed.

Farmtruc how do you tap into the original fuel pump relay? I want to eliminate the front fuel tank on mine, any help greatly appreciated.

the stand alone harness we build uses its own fuel pump relay, none of the original wiring was used

Any pics of the motor mounts? I see there's plenty of room in there so im thinking about jumping into my 82 f100 and doing a very similar build since I already have a 5.3 and th400

you'll just need to make some U type shells or something similar.

Farmtruck do u remember what hose u used for the power steering?

The power used was GM stuff, then hoses to the stock ford gear box.
