I could guess 12.0-12.2 @ 100-teens. There were early rumors that anyone with a roll bar would get booted for anything in the 11's so people were a little tentative (HINT: Jeff *cough*brake*cough*lights*1000' mark*cough) but in the end it was not the case.
we had a pretty good showing last night at the track with the Lightning fellas....
the weather was crappy and everyone (from what i heard) was off a few tenths... but post up what you ran last night, im curious..
i wish Mr P would post up some of the races he filmed, cuz i know he got quite a few...
my first time out to the 1/4 in 4-5 years and i was pretty happy.... especially since i know theres plenty left in it.
ran a 12.6 @ 107 on a 100 shot......... with 1 tire working :D
i ran 15.07 in V-Tak ride, 2004 GMS Sierra 5.3!!LOL :D

I ran a few 12's...not going to get the slips, but like a 12.0, a 12.2, and a 12.5? All at like 116-118mph lol. The truck has mid 11's in it easy. I'm just running out of fuel. As soon as I can save for a fuel pump, I'll be 11.5 or better.

It was a good night, ran a 11.61 at 121mph. There was a rumor from tech that if you ran a 11.99 or quicker you were packing it up without a cage, so I took it easy the first few runs, 12.0,12.2. Found out that it was false and only made one more pass, shes got more in her for sure.
No I was spraying the 30 shot during the 60' and it basically worked TOO good. Got my rpms and speed up there and I ran out fuel almost immediately.Quote:

Great to meet up with you guys again, it's been too long. I went on a parts buying spree to get the truck ready for this meet but things did not arrive in time for me :( ...Next Time! ;)
I'm sure you all saw me walking around with my camera... here's what I captured, I shot 3-GB of video and at the end of the night my arm was about to fall off lol. I made an effort to shoot every LS1Truck member run, and most of the Ford runs too. We need to get word back to the Lonestar Lightning guys that these vids are here, I am sure they would like to see them too.
To view these you need to use the Quicktime viewer. The videos were taken in native HD so if you guys want the ORIGINALS of your runs (they are beautiful, full screen vids!) pm me and I will make them available for download - they are much too big to attach in email. Then you can burn them to a DVD and watch on your bigscreen.

Tech told me that if you run in the 11's you need a cage. Most of the runs I ran just enough to beat the other racer I was paired against. With the DA last night I might not have been able to get lower that the 12's anyway.
