I FINALLY GOT THE BUMPER PAINTED ALL I NEED IS JUST TO LIFE IT ABOUT HALF A INCH SO I WONT HAVE A GAP ...AND I STILL NEED TO PUT THE LOWER VALANCE...

I didnt notice that gap as much when it was chrome, but its a little more visable now. The spot for the tow hooks looks kinda weird also...are there ways to get rid of that?

Just wondering, was this conversion a pretty simple matter of just bolting the new front end on in place of the old one, or were there alot of modifications required? Ever since you posted those pics I am really thinking about trading in the Silverado for a newer slightly used Tahoe. In black for me tho. Cant get your truck outta my head. I really love that look and I always wondered what this kind of conversion would look like in person.
i think i woulda liked it better in chrome but still looks good :)
it was pretty simple just had to do some welding for the new bumper brackets cuz the hd ones sit like 3 inches lower and the hood latch had to be moved front i used the hd upper core support with the latch bracket ...ill post some new pics soon with the lower valance and the gap between the bumper and grill fixed...thnks im really glad ya like itQuote:
