You just fixed me up bro!! thanks for the pics!! I've already saved them if you need to delete them from taking up space here if not I'm sure someone else will enjoy them. Thanks again!
What does the purple one do for the starter? Does it go into the harness with hte fans?
I don't know how this works specifically on the F-body harnesses, but typically the purple wire goes directly to the starter solenoid. You'll want this run though a relay to a +12v supply. The relay coil should be hooked up to the crank line from your ignition switch through the neutral start switch on the side of the trans. There should be a yellow wire going into the neutral start switch from the ignition switch and a purple wire coming out going to the starter relay coil.
Thanks PSWired, I'll take a look.
Sounds right. I didn't want to add a neutral safety switch(another one) so I just hooked up the starter like it was on the 305. I think the f-body setup will continue to crank the starter until the engine starts. I.E. if you had 4 cylinders disconnected it would crank until it fires and is running.Quote:

Yep, purple wire comes out from the ignition switch directly to the starter solenoid. Mine ran through the clutch switch and then to the starter. I removed the one that was in the LS1 harness and used the factory one from the original setup.
