well you dont see many h-pipe set ups anymore. and i was really satisfied with my last one. i always raced this guy that lives down the street from me and he had the same truck as mine but he also had a shift kit, cai, and programer. and i would beat him by a car on the streets before i got my tune. and everything was stock on mine other than the h-pipe. and i know that alot of people say h-pipe costs alot. but i know people :) oh and about the 6 cyl trucks, to me thats a no no. they dont have disk in the back. and i dont feel like messing with that. all i want to do is engine, transmission, and harnest. plus i like my power everything and carpet inside. but it will be 99-02. i love that style.

if i was smarter i would have bought a 99-02 gmc scsb an built a 6.0 with L92 heads an my FAST 90mm tb with a 150 shot...but ive started the build on my 94 so its an OBS build lol.
you can run 799 heads if you want, they flow the same as the 243s just a different cast number.
if your gonna build a 6.0, go ahead an make a Forged 370 to handle whatever you decide later down the road(Turbo, Supercharger,150 shot)

well right now like almost everyone else, im pretty tight on money. so i was just going to leave the stock internals in there for the time being.
-
good idea then! what tranny???
60E do shift kit, do servos, stall.
80E do shift kit an stall
your gonna have a nasty sleeper
-
yea i was just going to do the 80e with shift kit cause i dont feel like taking the time to rip apart the 60. ill just put both in at the same time one weekend. that way on monday im ready to go. and prolly go get it tuned on my lunch break or something. unelss of course i can mail in the computer and have someone tune it before hand.
-
If you're going to buy a tune in the near future, get everything you need for the 80e conversion done and ready to go, order a tune with the 80e configuration already in it, install tune, transmission, rewire the trans pins in the PCM, add the input speed sensor, add modified driveshaft with new 80e/th400 yoke and then go play. :thumb:

its gonna be insane man...id love to see a stock 6.0/80E combo in a RCSB on juice
-
If you want a sleeper. I'd say go with stock sounding cam big cubes and a big direct port nitrous system.
-
well i was thinking ls6 cam cause alot of people wouldnt be able to tell a difference. meaning the people who act like they know about things when they dont. plus with an ls6 cam i wont have to change the torque converter.

I would leave the little 4.8 and turbo it.
