i just finished my swap & for the time being i'm using the existing exhaust which is dual flowmaster 40 series & it's not that loud. could be the little 2" pipe that runs from the headers back, but hopefully that will all change soon.

I have dual flowmasters with shoenfeld headers not sure what series but they are to quiet for me.I hope i can find some corsa mufflers because i loved that sound on my 05 gto with headers.
I've got dual flowmaster 40 series. running through 2.5" pipe all the way out the back. They aren't that loud to me, probably because they are running through factory manifolds and cats. I do like the sound though, sounds good and clean imo.
My Flowmaster 44 was retarded loud and droned like a Mofo.
Magnaflow is OKAY. It's what I run. I don't care for the tone but I like something that isn't restrictive like a Flowmaster.
Love mine. I can hear myself at cruise and its decent at WOT.
You want loud, try a Spintech. Flowmasters are chambered, which causes drone.
I know there's other options... but ive had good luck with flowmasters and I just like the tone. I may end up goin with a different series tho. I had them on my truck before and it wasn't too bad inside. Of course that's compared to a straight pipe... lol id like to hear and compare them all right side by side and just pick one out by sound and tone without even looking at brands. Then I think wed all be satisfied!!! :D
Im running Flowbastard 40's on mine ( long tubes, no cats). That seems quiet enough for when i see the fuzz. When Im crusin i open the electric cutout which sounds wayyyy better and wayyyy louder lol
Anyone have experience with long tubes on a 6L with no cats running borla xr1 or pro xs mufflers? I plan on having it dumped before the rear axle.
All stock 3"exhaust gutted cats and a dynomax
I'm running a single 3" Borla XR-1, love the sound.
