I deleted all of that (canister and line running to tank) and have about a 10" hose from my tank that sits inside the rear frame rail to help the tank breathe

That is pretty much what I did also. My only issue with this is, when I have the truck in a closed garage, it smells the garage up something terrible. Guess thats what the charcoal cannister helped with.Quote:

In retrospect, thats what I should have done as well. Its gone now, lol. The cannister/gas tank tube system is the tanks only means of venting, correct? Just wondering what the older 80's/90's GM pickups had for a gas tank vent system?Quote:
