But you would assume that givin a grind, they could tell you what size base circle it used. I can see it being different on different grinds, but not on the same grind.

Oh, one other thing. My friend just put the texas speed torquer V3 cam in his GTO. it's a 64X lift cam and based on what I'm reading, I'm thinking he might need longer pushrods. Suggestions?
Same thing. Measure the base circle and compare it to the stock cam.
Do the contact pattern check on the valve tip and center it with an adjustable pushrod. measure it and order new pushrods or lock down the jam nut and send it to comp and have them make you a set to match.
