I agree with the CLAW we are both running the same cam in our 5.3 i saw go for it and throw in a 4k stall to get it up in the power band fast!!! dont be skurd
what kind of rwhp should a cam like this generate
5.3L motors love 220/228 cams................ 228/232 114 in an ex cab full weight 300lb driver.... runs runs mid 13's with TBSS stall .... and low 12s on 150.... it sounds KILLER with long tubes... and truck will blow the tires off on command....

Chris @ Circle D his stalls drive around 1800-2K and between 2200-2500 on the footbrake depending on Power level and Gear ratio... They Flash around 3000@ WOT .... on the Nitrous it would flash 4000.... might sound like alot to some of you "street" guys but thats just a quick flash in rpms that throws the engine up in power and starts to pull the truck !... they are 350.00 ish bucks and work great for the guys that have never had a stall.... they work well even with near stock lock up settings so its really just a swap out with the stock units you will see very little sacrafice with MPG..
