:help: Where can I get the longer crank bolt? I went to the dealership and they only had 103mm bolt for my 01 Silverado. Also will the Autozone spring compressor work? I hear different views on them. Where can I get a better one?
Thanks

EDIT: I have no idea where you are located?!!!
I can't remember the size of the thread but the length I bought was 120mm. I found a store that sells nothing but nuts and bolts. They even have electrolicly(sp?) polished some stainless steel bolts for me that will never rust and are shinyer than a chrome bolt. If you can't find one PM me. :hshake:
I just chopped the head off my old bolt and welded another short bolt to the remaining threaded rod.
Thanks for all the info. Anyone have any experience with the autozone valve spring compressors?
That will work on single springs. I have one of those cheapos and it works fine. If doing it on the truck, pull the spark plug, get some cotton rope and stuff about 3 foot of it into the cylinder then roll it up to TDC to hold the valves in place while changing springs. Works better than compressed air.
