6.0L 4L80E NP241C conversion in an 84 K5

I'm almost there, but I need some info. I need to know the pulse rate of the VSS on an NP241 transfer case and that of one of the newer cases that come in the silverado's denali's escalade's etc. Speartech did my wiring but they gave me the rear connector on the 4L80E which I can't use. It's suposed to be for use on a 2wd 4L80E but since 4x4 4L80E's don't have a VSS there I have to use the one on the NP241 case I have mounted behind it. As long as the pulse rates are the same I should be alright.

From what I have found out so far what I need is 40 pulse per revolution. Just want to confirm that.
