ive got a 2000 4.3, are you talking about the send and return fuel lines from the gas tank to the fuel filter? or do you mean all the way to the fuel rails?
from the back of the gas tank there are a couple of clips you have to disconnect, and remove from the side of the gas tank. and of course disconnect one of the lines from the fuel filter.
im not to sure how to do it from the fuel rail. ive never located mine on my 00 4.3. but i guess just try and follow the lines all the way to the fuel rail from under the truck
On my '98 4.3 there isn't a fuel rail. The lines come up the rear drivers side of the engine and plug straight into the top of intake manifold towards the back. Mine is the Vortec so I'm assuming they are still the same. I can't remember exactly but I think you can disconnect them a little further back too, cuz they are a real bitch to get out of the manifold.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(duckysbht @ Jun 2 2006, 01:36 PM) </div>Its a 99 4.3L new body style. The LQ4 came out go a 2002 GMC 2500HD. Im hoping everything matches up and the motormounts are the same. 2 things that I know for sure you will have to have are the A/C Lines (BC they are hard lines and arent bent right) and the fuel lines, same reason. Ill post pics once the motor is pulled and when we drop the new one it. Ill be out of town the next whole week so give me a about 2 weeks to have it all done.Quote:
