New here from California - LQ9/SAS
Hey all new here from CA, thought I'd post some info about my project:
1993 Chevy K1500
Built 4L60E (Beast Sun shells, 8 Pinion Planetary etc,.)
Rebuilt NP241c
Custom double cardan Drive shaft from Texas Driveshaft Specialties
Plans:
Motor - LQ9 block started as a brand new 0 miles bare short block that was assembled, measured for clearance, bored to 4.070" and honed as well as deck plated.

Motor is assembled, waiting to install Dirty Dingo Motor Accessory truck brackets. However, I'm not sure whether to fork over the big bucks for the Holley EFI kit because I am trying to swap this:
• Using my original 93' 4L60E & NP241c (VSS is on tail of tcase)
• Retain drivability in 4Lo (I've been told may be problematic but can set 2 different tunes to accomodate normal drive and when in 4Lo)
Anyone out here tried to swap a LS motor and retain there original 4L60E? 2wd or 4wd?
What route did you go and how - Flashed computer, Standalone, etc,.
Drive Train - SAS D60 Ford Driver drop and 14 bolt Full float
• ARB Air Locker F+R
• Yukon Inner/Outer Axles
• Yukon Super Joints
• Yukon 4.88 Gears
• TSM Manufacturing 14 bolt disc brake conversion
• Off Road Design Spring Hangars
Much more to come, still waiting for suspension and brakes.
I'll post pictures of everything when I get some more time !
