ok guys so i started to cut wire from the passenger side harness that goes to the computer. when i pulled the old motor i forgot to mark and take off the old sensors for my guages. now im have trouble locating them for when i go to hook everthing up with the new motor. i need help identifing the plugs/wires that go to the temp sensor and the oil press sensor. i have done multiple searches for diagrams and other info that i need but nothing that matches up to what i need. thanks in advance guys
as far as i remember from what i read, the wires coming out of the driverside harness is where these wires are located and on a side note when i went to orilies to get the oil and temp sensors, they had two different oil sensors, one with a 3 pin and one with a 2 pin, all i can find in my wires are mainly 1 pin connectors out of the passenger side harness

From the instrument panel cluster, locate the green wire at position "R" of the cluster plug. This wire goes to the temperature sensor.
From the instrument panel cluster, locate the tan wire at position "P" of the cluster plug. This wire goes to the oil pressure sensor.
Not sure if these wires come from the driver's side firewall or the passenger side. You will have to track them down working from the cluster panel plug towards the firewall.
Judging by these schematics, your sensors should be one wire sensors.

So then the sensors r gona be different then what they are telling me if they are just single wires, so then do I just get some single wire sending units?
Yes. They will need adapters though to fit the LS engine's metric threaded ports.
You can also hit the junk yard and check out trucks similar to your year that are unmolested. This way, you can see which wires are what and how the sensors look.

The black connector is your temp sensor 99% sure.
