IF I was to buy a 6.2 to swap into my truck, would the year matter? I would assume it would be pretty much plug and play. And just get retuned.

That depends on a few things, but more on model and trans than year. Ls3=manual trans camaro/newer corvettes L99=auto trans camaro/other ls3 cars L92=trucks/SUVs I know that's not complete or perfect but more general. Also you would need a complete pullout because of different style heads and intakes etc etc....
I was thinking more along the lines of the truck/suv version L92. I knew I need a complete pull out. I'm not saying I'm doing this swap but I would if stumbled across the engine. I just didn't know if certain years are less desirable.
