o4 Fuel System Question

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I'm new to the LSx engines.

I am installing a 5.3 from an 04 Tahoe into a 55 Chevy Suburban. Do I need to run a fuel return line for this motor? Looked at pictures of a replacement pump for an 04 Tahoe and it shows 2 hose connections. One is the supply, is the other a vent or return?

I will more than likely be using an Tanks Inc fuel pump with the Walbro 255 pump instead of the stock 04 pump. What about filters and fuel pressure regulators? Can someone help me with what is required. Right now I am still using the truck manifold.
