Called our Chevy parts dude and got a price on a new tranny (4l60e) and he quoted me $1500, comes with a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty. My question is does this sound like a good deal?

It will just be another stock trans. I know urs latest a long time but with ur mods a little more internal parts would help.
Since ur trans is in great shape, latest longer than most, and is a good candidate for a rebuild, I can ask this guy we use for rebuilds if u want?? Lmk. We r cutting it close.
Hell no, theyre not gonna warranty it once they find out your modded. But if they will id say do it cus youre gonna explode that bitch in a hurry :lol:
He knows what has been done to the truck and says we can get around it. What about the price?

Seems pricey, but they are gonna warranty then id say its worth it, but I just think youre gonna spend alot of times pulling it and putting it back in.
Allen, how much would your guy charge? I dont think I'll be able to get it done before the races but still plan on going anyway.
