its up to you. i have a dbw set up on mine. but kinda wishing i went with the cable. only because im limited on the moutnting options for the pcm because of the pedal harness. you will have to find a dbw peal and tac module. if you dont have them its probably easier to just get a cable throttle body and have your harness and pcm modified for that set up. so you would reuse the oem pedal and cruise control. ive heard mixed reviews regarding throttle response etc so i think its just a matter of convenience. i kept mine dbw because i llike the fact of having a modern touchQuote:

that doesn't look to shabby lol. Heres what i truely want, the absolutely cleanest setup, for the money. as far as a Painless harness for the engine as well. My only problem with getting this swap done is that i don't have anything to drive in the mean time. So until then i either have to get everything ready for a weekend swap, or find something to drive!

thanks im still not finished with the carpet. i still have to do the cargo area. im waiting until i get the truck running because i got tons of tools and parts in the back. yea take a drive down to the golden state once you get the swap done and ill hook you up!
Haha, ill take that deal! Little news update, decided I'm just going to flog the absolute shit out of the TPI that is in it until it literally FALLS APART! 230k miles on the engine alone. This truck is a Frankenstein truck for real 630K miles on the chassis, 87 TPI from an old scrapper. If you want details just ask, there are so many more things to tell. haha
