i really want to get my truck running as soon as possible so i read alot of forums about vats bypass modules and was just wondering if they work and witch one is a better one to get. another question is i found two types one that is fed from a 5 volt supply and another that is a 12v supply not sure if this matters but its probly good to know also do i need 30 hertz or 50 hertz. any help would be useful thanks.
i have a stand alone harness with a ls1 out of a 98 vette
NP probably does a VATS bypass for next to nothing. Cheaper than a module and will count towards a tune later on I believe.
+1 have PCM flashed, I'm sure you could even find a local tuner.
I sent my ecu to Lextech. Very speedy and great reliability
Thats ok i got a bypass module and it work got it running good and spun a bearing. So back to the drawing board. hopefully it will only be slight machine work
