I'm thinking there's no way, but was out playing with the new truck last night and first time really hammering on it. was at 85 mph in 2nd at a little over 5000 rpm's. Is there any way that little 4.8 came with a 4l80e behind it?

Since its a nnbs I really am not sure, but don't think so, but its prolly the gears. I think the rare 3.08 trucks run all the way to 98mph in 2nd. 3.23 or 3.42 won't much better.
I don't think so, but check your RPO codes in the glovebox.
No. 60e.
It probably has 3.08 or 3.23 gears.
Yep 3.23 mine does 52 1st & 94 in 2nd
Crap, oh well. Thanks for the replies. :thumb:
yay for rpo, 60e and 3.23. good call
yeah when i had 3.23s and oversize tires i would run the whole 1/4 mile finishing still in 2nd
