Wondering if anyone out there has removed their OEM cat. coverters for some aftermarket headers. I'm needing the y-pipe for my '97 OBS swap with a 4.8l. Let me know what you have. I'm located in Mobile, AL and can drive(within reasonable distance) to pick or meet.

I've got the stock cats, but not the complete y-pipe. There is enough pipe left on them to fab up a new y-pipe. The stock flange are still connected to them aswell. Pictures in the for sale section

Why are you choosing to keep the cats?
No particular reason, I've found a set of ss headers for $320....I figured I could get the stock Y-pipe for less. This is a budget build....later,once I have some extra $, I may do the headers.
A cheap route would be fabing a ypipe with no cats. Plus a nice boost in power. Or you can order one and adjust it slightly to fit just right. I think jegs makes off-road ypipes for you truck for around 150$ (goes off to find link)

or you could buy new longtubes for $250 and have an exhaust shop make a y for $80
