after 204k i was fixing to do a mean powerbrake, and tires didnt even spin a bit haha just a big BOOM, so anyways didnt really want to spend 500 on a nice locker so paid 200 for a compete open diff, figured im onroad most of the time, well i hate it, works fine on the road of course but im 20years old, tearing up ditches and http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/site-...rum-rules.html does not work well, i know its stupid but how studpid to weld it posi, i know ima eat tires, but will it last, if welded good, u already have an idea how i drive ole girl sometimes,

I wouldn't do the lincoln locker for a DD... I did it in my lifted 93' and had hell driving in town. I think the money I ate up in tires could have been put to a good limited slip or locker... not to mention I think I went through u-joints more often.
