Well I'm the victim of my own stupidity. :whack: Here is the advise......
When doing a LS1 or Vortec swap and replacing the fuel pump in the tank. No matter HOW GOOD that little &$#^$# :grr: connector hose looks that goes from the pump to the sending unit steel line. Replace that little POS because if you don't it WILL and I mean WILL split on you. :sad: My motor ran great at the first start up but then started to run like crap. checked everything and finally checked the fuel pressure and I was getting around 12. Checked all the way back to the tank line still 12lbs. Pulled the tank and sender found that hose split like a mellon.
Hope this helps someone else save pulling their tank and pump a second time.

Been there, done that. Mine was with an LT1 conversion though. Make sure the hose you're using is fuel injection quality, also. If it isn't, you will rupture the new band-aid, too.
