New Kansas truck guy here
I saw this outlet for my wild ideas and had to join. I have a number of trucks, but only one that I am presently building to put a 5.7 LS1 from a 2000 Trans Am into. The truck will be a 1968 streetrod C10, with a smoothed body and a 3" top chop on it. I have the LS1 on an engine stand with plans for a truck oil pan, vice the F Body pan and a cam upgrade. I saw a truck with a 5.3 engine that had a Texas Speed cam and long tube headers on it, that just flat hauled. I am always open to new ideas.
