LS Truck Pan?
I did a quick search but didn't find much...
I noticed the LS truck pan seems to hang lower than my 350 pan. Does it hang lower than the front k-member/crossmember on 88-98 Chevy trucks? My 1993 step side is lowered 3/5 and some roads are a little rough around here. Id just like to make sure I don't smash the oil pan on the 5.3 once I get it in.
Thanks.

Use the Fbody/Camaro oil pan, sump tube and windage tray. I've run it in all my OBS trucks and have lots of clearance.

lol. Figures that would be the case. Little more money to spend I guess.
That'll be fun to do with the motor and trans still attached
Edit: Hope I can find some better prices than Ebay has, because they are RIDICULOUS.

sdparts and gmpartsdirect sell a complete fbody pan kit

I found this on Scroggin Dickey but they don't have the sump tube in there, lol.
That the correct one though?

I also saw it on Classic Chevy for $300. Pfffffffff.

That looks like a truck oil pan. I would call them and ask before ordering. GMPD sells individual items to build up the pan setup, pan, baffle, oil pickup tube, dipstick tube and dipstick all for a 2002 camaro. About $250 for all parts. I think a new pan comes with a new oil pan gaskets.

Hmm.
$310 is pricey for a build that's going so affordable so far.
But, I remembered my mother can get a discount (like 20% or more) on factory GM parts from the dealership. I'll prob try and get the part numbers together an go that route.
Guess that's one thing I miss about the old three fiddy. Cheap as dirt parts
But worst case I'll just let another paycheck or two roll in...and while I'm waiting I'll sit here in the AC and convert my harness to stand-alone. I'm getting tired of trying to figure out a 'nice' way to mount the '02 fuse block anyways.
'preciate it!

I am running the F- body pan as well, there is a lot of room under the pan. I bought it from S and P, about $300 for everything.

What about this one? It's from the LH8 (Hummer H3 V8 if I remember right).
