6.0 exhaust manifold fitment in G-van

So does anyone know if there's a difference in routing and fitment from truck to van exhaust manifolds? Or maybe the better question is, does the LQ4 have different manifolds for van vs truck?

I'm thinking this may be the biggest hurdle into fitting a 6.0 into my G30 motorhome chassis. I would prefer to run the stock manifolds, but I don't have the slightest clue if they'll even fit or not. Mostly for ease of swappage and cost. The factory manifolds look pretty good to me from a flow perspective (much better than the cast log manifolds on the 350). Long tubes would be cool but I'm sure it would most likely be a custom fab and I'm not interested in spending mad $$ on that!

Doesn't seem like too many people have attempted the LSx into a van (and definitely no one has documented this) so I can't find any information about this on the web.

I don't think I've ready about anyone doing an lsx swap in a motorhome so you'll probably be paving the way in that regard. The best thing to do is do a mock install and test fitment.

I'm surprised no one has done this in a van either.

Search the web, there are a lot of vans converted to LSx engines, including Astro vans. :thumb:

Don't fret the A/C issue, there are a few companies that make adapters so that you can have your factory A/C mounted up high.
