99-07 NBS Y-pipe on 94 Z71?

Hey guys, I am looking at a new project, and am deciding which way to go with it.

Starting point: 1994 SCLB Z71 Pickup with built 4L60E and blown TBI motor. Long tube headers and custom exhaust (I am going to a look at what's in the truck in a few hours).

I am thinking of putting the 4.8L from my 2WD 93 Sierra into this truck (I am going to start another "Which engine?" thread elsewhere).

Has anybody used stock 99-07 exhaust manifolds and y-pipe on a 4WD 88-95 truck? I know it fits onthe 2WD trucks, but no idea on 4WD.

I do know that the Y-pipe on the 99-07 trucks is the same 2WD-4WD, so unless the drop on the t-case for the front driveshaft is different, it <should> fit.

I would like to use the entire exhaust system from my 93 2WD. It has a complete exhaust system from my buddies SCSB 2004 Silverado.

Any thoughts?
