Questions on a/c in an 84 c10 w/Lsx (for a future reference)

I know i can get a harness made that will incorporate the use of air conditioning but how does it tie into my truck? What turns the a/c on? Will it still have a WOT cut off? just curious. I plan on running a/c in my truck. right now i dont even have the engine in just trying to get things lined up.

On your '84 there is a low pressure switch on the accumulator. Hook the output wire (wire goes to the old compressor clutch) to the PCM input "AC Request" and let the PCM control the compressor clutch power. The WOT cutoff in in the tune.
