ok so i have a 4.8 in my rcsb 2004 sierra,
this guy lives like 15 mins away
i know im goin to buy the cam,lifters,rods(ls6) but would it be smart to buy any of this other stuff, would anything else work on my truck? i.e manifolds or touque converter?

You might see what casting number the heads are. They would be nice to have
Manifolds are larger, but unfortunately will not work. I think you've got everything you can get. FYI I sold my (70k mile) LS6 cam for 150 and the pushrods for 20. Don't let him charge you too much.
PS You might want to degree that cam back a little if it's more than 113. I don't know what the stock ICL is
