what to do...

k, i think i have a chipped piston or a rist pin making some noise in my tahoe. I also have a set of truck heads that are hogged out im ready to put on something to see what they put down. What kinda bottom end should i look at puttin in there. Thought about puttin a 5.7 in there... or maybe even just get a 6.0. Any suggestions...

Ill running a TB stall, 218/222 cam, and then some ported truck heads off a 05 chevy... cant remember the number right off hand.

The type of heads that are hogged out are important to know. The casting number is right on the heads.

I am guessing you probably have some Stage II 706s. Not a bad head--but it all depends on how much work has been done to it. Know the CC size? Valve sizes?

yeah i want to say they are 706's i dont have the heads back just yet... so i dont know anything on them as of right now.
