97 5.7L to LS1

Im new to this site, but i was wondering what exactly do i need to do a ls1 swap on a 97 silverado 5.7l. I already got a 2001 ls1 corvette motor in hand i just need to know exaclty what else i am going to need to complete this conversion. The LS1 comes with the wiring harness attached but im undecided wheter or not go with a painless wiring. any info helps. Thanks
